How to get AroundGames For Student Folder
How to install a game to your folder
1. Download the install
2. Create a Folder on the desktop
3. Run the install
4. When prompt to choose the install directory, change it to the folder you created on the desktop
5. Finish the install
6. Test run the game to make sure it works
Then you can drag the folder to your student folder, it will copy then you can open it from there on any computer.
Note: There is a difference between mac and windows, meaning games form windows will not work on mac and visa versa.
Thawspace Exploit
The thawspace on a computer (explecially the libraries) is a folder that anyone has access to, its a great way to save games to the computer or transfer games to other peoples computer. Check the High School libraries back computer, closest to the magazine rack for games i put in the thawspace.
Other Ways To Transport and/or share games.
There are 2 big things you can use to share or transport games, a flash drive, or a oline file manager. The flash drive can have games played off it, but if you do not have one you can upload your game to say Mediafire (google it), then you can download without hitting the cipa filter and save the game to your folder.
Advanced way of getting you your favorite flash game.
This trick involves a couple programs to download the .swf file and play it without internet. The first thing you want is the orbit downloader (google it) or something similar, for orbit go to your favorite game on the net, run grab it, refresh the internet page, then download the .swf file it found for the game. Now for a flash player there are a couple freeware ones out there easly found through google. Getting it to your student folder you may have to do one of the things i talked about above this. And most likely the high scores will be cut off by cipa filter.
